What is an agent?

Software that does a whole job rather than a tool someone operates. It runs on a schedule or a trigger, completes the work end to end, checks its own output, and reports what happened. One agent handles one job. Several of them sharing a set of skills is a system.

How is this different from a chatbot?

A chatbot waits to be asked. An agent starts on its own, finishes the task, and stops to ask only when something is genuinely unclear. Nobody has to remember to use it.

Then you subscribe and skip the build entirely. That is the cheapest answer and we will say so on the call rather than selling you something bespoke.

It depends on how the process actually runs and what it has to connect to. We scope it on the call and give you a timeline before you commit to anything.

A bespoke system is priced after the call, once we know what is being built and what it has to run against. Subscribing to MOCO is the cheaper path whenever it fits.

What if the data cannot leave our building?

Then the system runs on hardware you own. We design the agents and the machine together through Maai® Machines and install it with you.
